Week 6, 11/16/2020
Ok I definitely understand what people mean when they say days on the mission feel like weeks and the weeks feel like days. Every day feels oooh so long.. but now that I'm trying to remember what happened this week I honestly can't even remember because it flew by!
Ok I just asked my comp to remind me what happened and now I have a pretty good idea:
-Car battery died-2 lessons with Tina
-Lesson with Pinkie
-Waffle house
-Brother Wray!!
-Packed up a nastay house
-service at the Farm
Funny stuff: if any of you really know me, you know that I have bad luck with cars. I thought I'd be fine out here on the mish with the fancy cars we have but noooo. Our car battery died the other night and we had to get the Elders who live in the same apartment complex to jump start it 😬😂 so yes, that was fun!

| We all need our batteries recharged a little! |
I had my first ever Waffle House experience on Friday.... it was most definitely the grossest house of waffles I've ever been to. There's a Waffle House on about every corner here, and I knew it was a southern thing so I had to try it. The waffle was actually really good😂 but everything else was gross, so we probably won't be going back. I thought that was a pretty monumental mission moment so I had to share it.

We had 2 amazing lessons with Tina this week. We taught her on Saturday in the cutest park by a marina and it was a super cool experience. Sister Thomas and Sister Martin (the Sister that was here before me) baptized a lady named Juné in October right before I got here, and she was able to join the lesson with Tina at the park. It was so cool to have them get to know each other and have June apart of the lesson! Tina is honestly ready for baptism but she hasn't been able to come to church yet because of work:( We're hoping that when she can come to church her and June can become buds.
Fav scripture of the week: President Wood has asked all the missionaries of the mission to read the 4 gospels before Christmas zone conference in December (Matthew, mark, Luke, and john) so I've been reading a lot of the Bible lately. My favorite scripture I read this week was Matthew 19:26 "with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Life can definitely get hard sometimes, but we need to remember that we don't need to do everything by ourselves. God is always there willing to help us through our challenges! It's crazy meeting so many people and hearing about their stories. Some people have it very hard. I'm so grateful that I grew up in the circumstances that I did and that I've always had a loving family that supports me. I also know that a reason why I grew up very happy with a great family is because of the gospel. That's why I'm so excited to be here sharing the gospel in the hopes that I can spread that same joy that its brought me!
Hope you all have an amazing week: its almost Thanksgiving!!! Light the World has already started so I'm pretty excited about that but Thanksgiving is exciting too😇 Love and miss you guys so much!
-love Sister Bonny❤
