| My district P-day on Jekyll Island. |
I've officially been out 1 month! I flew out to Jacksonville on October 27th and I hit my 1 month mark on Friday! This month has been so crazy, but its honestly flown by!
This week was especially crazy:
-District pday on Jekyll Island
-Zone Conference
-THANKSGIVING!
-Tradeoffs

So yes, a lot of firsts for me this week. Very exciting, only a little stressful.
Zone conference was awesome! I loved being able to meet all the missionaries in our zone and get to know them better. We talked a lot about how the gospel is a straight and narrow path and its very easy to get side tracked. I've definitely seen that in my life, there's so many things in this world that will pull you away if you're not careful! So I thought it was a great zone conference, its the only one I've ever been to but it was truly awesome!

THANKSGIVING! First of all, I hope y'all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I hope you got to eat some good pie! I probably had the most interesting Thanksgiving of my life this yearπ Sister Thomas and I were invited over to our ward mission leaders BBQ restaurant. And there was SO much food. But it was not your normal Thanksgiving feast. (That would be much too boring for bro Wilson) We had: turkey, ham, lima beans, corn bread, mac and cheese, ravioli, squash casserole, chicken enchiladas, guacamole, veggie spring rolls, mini hot dogs, fried meatballs, yam, cold mashed potatoes, pecan pie, key lime cake, peach cobbler, and then there was a lot of brown and lumpy dishes that I didn't dare touch. So ya the variety of food options was honestly hilarious...it did not feel like Thanksgiving!

It was also the Wilson's grandson's birthday party, so there was a lot of family and friends there, and there were lots of balloons and present unwrapping as well. So ya, we definitely had an interesting Thanksgiving this yearπ We also ended up sitting by Bro Wilson's sister at dinner who hates missionaries.... haha, only a little awkward. Besides dinner though, we weren't allowed to proselyte since it was a holiday so we went on a fun bike ride, played board games with the Elders, and talked to family :) overall a really fun and memorable day!
I had my first tradeoff on Friday/ Saturday with Sister Elkins! It was fun but a little stressful because she came to Brunswick so that means I was in charge of running the area for the day. I've only been here for a month -and while that may seem like a long time- I still can't drive to Walmart without navigation.π But it was a good tradeoff, I feel like I learned a lot from running the area and leading all the lessons we taught!

| Milkshakes make everything better...including my first tradeoff. (that's what they call splits/exchanges in my mission) |
As you can tell this was one crazy week! I don't know about y'all but after President Nelsons message I was just overwhelmed by how much I have to be grateful for! Even though Thanksgiving wasn't what I was used to, I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to spend it with another family this year, and be apart of their traditions, even if that meant being served enchiladas on Thanksgiving π
I love being a missionary. I love all the crazy and funny memories I'm making out here, and of course I love and miss y'all!
❤ Sister Bonny
