Weeks 1-3, 10/31/20

Nothing like the "AT HOME MTC"

AHHHH I can’t believe the MTC is already over!  So I officially started the at-home-MTC on October 7th and today was my last day :( sad but very exciting!  I didn’t send emails while I was home…because there really wasn’t much to report haha.  But for all of you lovely people who never had the glorious opportunity to do the at-home-MTC, this is basically what it is:

9:30-12:30am morning class

1:00-2:00pm companion study

2:30-5:30pm afternoon class

7:00-8:00pm either devotionals, teaching appointments, or workshops :)

So I have basically been living in my basement zooming all day

for the past 3 weeks, it’s been great!

This is me 11 hours a day!

My wonderful MTC comp Sister Allman

Along with the classes, you’re also supposed to be living the mission life, so that means waking up at 6:30 am and doing personal study and all of that good stuff:). To be honest I didn’t love the online MTC at first….but I really grew to love it as time went on!  (I could also go on hikes and hang out with my family whenever I wanted, so that was a plus)  My district was amazing and I loved my companion Sister Allman soooo much!  I honestly feel so close with all of them even though I’ve never actually met any of them haha.

Getting some family love after my Farewell talk

Love my friends and family!

Anyway, that was the MTC.  My testimony of the Savior’s love for each and every one of us grew a ton.  I also learned a lot about the Book of Mormon and how amazing it is.  Basically I’m super excited (only a little nervous) to start teaching people now!

My flight for Jacksonville, Florida leaves tomorrow at 9:35 am so the next time I email you all, I’ll be in the field!  Thanks so much to everyone that made the MTC a good experience and I’m sorry if I didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to any of you, but you are all amazing and I’m going to miss you guys so much!

I just might miss these weird humans...

SAYING GOODBYE!   :(

Hey guys one more thing!  My district put this fun video together while we were in the MTC, it just kind of introduces all the missionaries that were in our district.  Give it a watch if you want!  Also shoutout to Elder Palmer for editing it and putting it together!
