Found this cute little guy in our driveway
This week was craaaazy busy! But hey I'm not complaining🤷♀️ we ate some good food, taught our friends about the gospel, went to the beach, moved a fridge, slept a little bit, and I spoke in sacrament meeting. It was such a good week! We hardly spent any time in the apartment, and running from appointment to appointment is fun but it can get tiring. People loooove to talk here, so something I've gotten good at is ending conversations 😅 But we love our people here.
I love being a full time representative of Jesus Christ and being able to help people that come from all different kinds of backgrounds. Because that's what this gospel is all about: loving and helping people. I think sometimes we can get so wrapped up in the other things about our religion (while they are still important) but we forget the big picture. Our goal is to be more like Christ. If people are different from us thats ok, we should love and serve them no matter what! Anyway that's just a thought I had this past week.

District Meeting - we have a pretty big district, 5 companionships
Little miracle of the week:
We've been trying to get in with this family called the Lee's. They were previously taking lessons with the missionaries but covid kind of messed things up and they haven't had the missionaries over in months. We've been trying to get to know them, but they're suuuuper busy because their daughter competes in cheer and gymnastics every weekend across the state. But this weekend the competition was in Waycross, so we asked if we could come and they said yes! We went to her gymnastics competition and it was super fun, then they invited us over for dinner on Sunday! So we totally got in with that family and it turns out that the dad knows the church is true and he wants to start reading the book of Mormon again. He even talked about getting baptized! So it's a big miracle that we were able to get close with this family so fast and they have a desire to learn more about the church! They said the reason they invited us over is because we're "normal" missionaries 😅 apparently some of the previous Elder missionaries here have been a little weird, so thank goodness for that as well!

Typical Waycross moment...waiting on another train
Phoebee and Desmond are officially getting baptized THIS Saturday now. They had to quarantine for covid so we had to push it back, but they're doing good and they can't wait for Saturday.
That's all for this week. Love you guys a ton! There was no close calls with any trains this week so no need to worry 😅 hope y'all have an awesome week!
