Ernest: "hah another victim God can steal from Satan" as he laughs like he's plotting something great. 😅

Maybe you had to have been there but it was pretty funny and I just love Ernest so much

Anyway this week was really good! Here are some miracles of the week:

-We've been having volleyball night every Thursday for the last few weeks and it's been super successful! Tons of kids come every week, and they've started inviting their friends to it as well! (There's nothing else fun to do in Waycross) Avery invited her friend Bailey who isn't a member, we've gotten pretty close with them and apparently Bailey might be interested in coming to church. So that's been pretty cool to see the youth get involved in missionary work!

-One of our members knows Connor and he was able to come to a lesson with him and us this week! It went super well! We're hoping to set up a baptismal date with him this week :)

-We keep running in to people we're trying to teach in public! We saw Kelly from salvation army at Okefenokee swamp while we were doing service, we saw Crystal at the diner, and we saw TG at surcheros. I'm just doing my best out here and watching God do his thing and it's pretty cool.

Cool story: we visit our recent converts a lot and have studies with them and teach them lessons and stuff. Recently we've been teaching Ernest about the temple and family history and he absolutely loves it! First of all: family history is so cool! I was such a punk in high school and I always complained when my mom made me do family history stuff, I thought it was soooo lame. Now that I'm older and wiser I understand the importance of it. As missionaries we are helping to gather Israel on this side of the veil, but there are millions of people that have died without the gospel, so family history helps us gather Israel on the other side of the veil. I have also loved teaching Ernest about temples. I MISS THE TEMPLE. We are so lucky to live in a time and place where we have access to the blessings in the temple and we can go whenever we want (besides right now with covid) Ernest is already so excited to go to the temple.

Apparently he had a tobacco addiction before he was baptized. He had tried to quit years before but it didn't work. When he tried to quit this time with God's help he said it was super easy! I know that God helps us through our trials and he WANTS us to experience the blessings that come from baptism and the temples and he will help us get there. I'm SO excited to go to the temple again!

Well that's about it! Every time people ask us about our week I can never remember what we did. Every week is super busy but it all just blurs together 😅 but side note: when we were at Okefenokee doing service a gator started growling super loud and it literally sounded like we were at a theme park or something.

Also happy mothers day yesterday to the most beautiful amazing mom in the whole wide world 🥰🥰🥰 I'm sure everyone says that about their mom but y'all are living a lie because my mom is actually the best.
