TRANSFER #6!!!!! Technically the next transfer hasn't started yet, but we got transfer calls on Saturday and sis Graf and I are staying in Waycross! We weren't super surprised since I'm still training her...but we were relieved when we got the news, we didn't want to split up yet. This will be my 6th transfer in the Kingsland zone and my 4th transfer in Waycross Georgia :) life is goooood

The volleyball crew

Alright I got 2 good quotes for y'all this week:

"The missionaries are here so put some pants on!"

"She's stubborn, she likes Biden"

This week was really good though. I know I pretty much say that every week...but I can't lie! If its ever not good, I'll let y'all know.

We found someone new to teach through a self referral so that always exciting.

We got permission to start a Bible study and we've been inviting everyone we meet to that. (I never thought I'd be so hyped to study the Bible)

We got to do a pday boat tour of the Okeefenokee Swamp!  Way cool!

We've been trying to work with a less active/part member family and it wasn't going too great. Until the other day we decided to invite the kids to volleyball night, they kind of shrugged off the idea so we thought they wouldn't come. We started playing volleyball and about a half hour in, they showed up! They haven't been to the church for years and they came to volleyball and had a blast. So that was exciting. Volleyball produces miracles.

We've been teaching our friend James for a while now and his progression has slowed down quite a bit. We invited him to church several times but for one reason or another he couldn't make it. He told us he would FOR SURE be there this Sunday (he had his outfit picked out and everything) but when church started he wasn't there :/ oh well. 30 minutes into the meeting I look over and find James sitting by himself in the back looking as happy as ever. Turns out he got the time wrong, but he still came we were so happy for him! He's been pretty nervous to come to church by himself but the ward fellowshipped him so well, it was just what he needed.

Weird story: we were trying to meet someone in our ward that we had never met before, so we decided to stop by their house. They opened the door and was so nice to us. We actually knew her because she works at a local gas station we go to so in all the excitement we forgot to ask if she was Chelsea. So we have a great conversation with her and schedule a time to come back and meet the fam. AND THEN we go to ward coordination and find out that Chelsea has moved and that was not chelsea!! It was just a random lady who was super nice to us. She was probably so confused 😅 we didn't even explain who we were because we thought she was a member! Anyway maybe something will come from it and it was just a little mix up organized by God.

This is a very typical front yard in this neck of the woods in Georgia

Change of topic: I've been studying a lot lately about the premortal life and foreordination. The premortal life is so cool! Foreordination is when God appoints certain people to fulfill specific missions during their mortal lives. Along with prophets such as Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Joseph Smith many of us were also foreordained before we came here to accomplish certain tasks here on earth. But it's all dependent on our agency and our righteousness. The gospel topics says, "as people prove themselves worthy they will be given opportunities to fulfill the assignments they then received." I think that's so cool! One of the blessings from the gospel is a knowledge of our purpose in life. We all have a purpose, and people we're supposed to meet, and tasks we're supposed to accomplish in this life. I'm so grateful for that knowledge and I'm so excited to see who else I'll be able to meet and things I'll be able to accomplish.

Anyway just some cool personal study thoughts. I encourage y'all to think of your divine purpose here on earth. Who can you help? What gifts has God given you? What can you do better than others to make a difference?

Alright well on that note... that's pretty much it for the week! Hope y'all have a fantastic week and pray that James can keep coming to church!

Love and miss y'all!
