 PROFESSIONAL MOVERS

So as of this week I think its safe to add: painter, mover and (more specifically) rug mover to my official resume when I get home. We did SO much service this week!! Every night we'd get home, I'd eat a bowl of cereal, and crash in bed, not having the energy to move another muscle. OK that sounds a little dramatic but you get the point.

I moved a few golf balls on pday as well

Our week of service:

Wednesday- we helped a less active family paint their new house! I love painting, its a fun service that I'm not too terrible at haha.

Also Wednesday- we helped another less active lady set up her new ginormous rug. We thought this would be like a 30 min service thing. No this rug was the size of her entire living room. We had to move 3 recliners and a couch to set it up.😳 Not an easy task, but she was so grateful, we felt super accomplished...and it looked real good.

Thursday: helped our friend move some boxes into her storage unit.

Friday: helped the Smiths move into their new house!! I'm gonna have the biggest missionary muscles ever when I get home, just sayin.

Saturday: volunteered and helped set up a local farmers market

A little Pday makeup tutorial

So ya that was our week of service projects. Honestly a lot of these are huge miracles because they were all with less active families that we've been trying to help for weeks now. So these service opportunities were great ways to help them and get to know them.

Ok now for an update on the people we're teaching:

Yes we've been teaching pretty much the same people for a while now, but they're doing great!

Alexis- she's been reading and praying to know if the Book of Mormon is true and she got her answer. She knows its true! I'm so happy for her. Since we've been teaching her I've seen her become happier and its such a testimony builder that this gospel truly does bring joy to your life.

Connor- he accepted a baptismal invitation a while back and he has loved the lessons and knows what we teach him is true! The only problem is he's in a band and they are always playing on the weekends, so he can hardly ever come to church :/ He is so prepared, so we're really praying for a miracle that he will be able to come to church and still be baptized. I'll keep y'all updated.

James- he came to church for the 3rd time today and he's been making lots of friends. So he's doing good 👍

Whatta good week:)

We also had the opportunity yesterday to fast as a mission for the opening of the Orlando temple. That's the temple for our mission, and we fasted specifically that it would move into phase 3 so we, our recent converts, and members can start attending the temple again. I miss the temple sooo much, I miss the peace and the feeling of God's love when I'm there. I know that temples are houses of God and the promises that we make there are important for this life and for the next. I definitely took them for granted when I was younger since I grew up less than 30 minutes away from 3 different temples. But I really miss and appreciate them, and I'm so excited for the day when we can go back! When they do open, I would invite all of y'all to not take them for granted like I did and go as often as you can. The blessings that come from temples are endless!

Sorry for the long email today, lots happened this week. 😆 but I love and miss y'all, have a good week! Don't do anything stupid
