| Ever been to a reptile party? I have. |
Time is so weird on the mission....I feel like I have been a missionary fooooorreevveeer. But at the same time, I feel like I JUST got here. This week felt like the longest week eeeever, but also at the same time it went by super fast. Anyway I'm just confused.
Just in case you were wondering, this is what a very average week looks like as a missionary:
-We laid mulch for an entire neighborhood for a community service project and I was soooo covered in dirt and sweat by the end of it. Super fun!
-We volunteered at a food bank filling up backpacks yay
-Zone conference!!
-Tradeoffs!! Sister Thomas came to Mandarin 1st ward (my ward) and I usually hate tradeoffs, but this one was actually super fun, blessings!
-The members here feed us so good! On saturday a member made us cucumber watermelon salad with salmon wellington, candied carrots, brussel sprouts, and cinnamon roll pastry cookies for dessert. I have never been fed so good in my life.
-We had a reptile party on Thursday with the Ellis family. There was an insane thunderstorm and we couldn't leave their house for a while so we just had a little party. Let's just say there was Mormon karaoke, reptiles, a power outage, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was the most chaotic night of my mission, but super fun!

| Service...we luv it |
Yep very average week. But we did have a miracle! Eddie spaghetti!
We met Eddie last week when he just randomly decided to come to church, and on Friday we were able to teach him a lesson introducing the Book of mormon. Apparenly some missionaries gave it to him a few months ago and he's just been reading it with no idea where it comes from. But he made us some spaghetti, we read the Restoration Proclamation, and taught him about the Book of Mormon! He was so excited about it, and he even invited his roomate Ken to join the lesson! So we're super excited about Eddie and Ken, they even came to our Book of Mormon reading night. Missionary work is just the best.

When I first got here we weren't teaching anyone and it was pretty discouraging, but the work is starting to move forward and it's so fun to be apart of it and watch it happen! I love my mission and I am so happy out here!
That's about it, I love y'all so much I promise I'll have an awesome spiritual thought for you next week:) byyyyyyeeeeee
