Week 44, 8/9/2021

 Life is good - Missions are great

Fun District #1

Eddie came to Book of Mormon night...but then he couldn't come to either of our lessons we had planned for him later that week.  :(

Rant time: I DO NOT understand!! Why do people say they can come to a lesson or say we can come over just to cancel on us?? If you are reading this and you have done that to someone recently, shame on you.  😅

Fun District #2

Ok I'm sorry I just had to rant about that, but seriously that's a good life lesson to learn.  Here is Sister Bonny's advice for the week: if you say you are going to do something, then do it.  Don't back out, or cancel because then people can't count on you.  Also, always text people back, even if you don't want to talk to them.  Just tell them and then they don't have to wonder if you are avoiding them or not.  

So many people cried in front of us this week.  As a missionary, you meet a lot of people that are going through hard times.  A lot of these experiences they are going through are ones that I can't relate to, but I know what will help them: the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I know that no matter what you are going through, living the gospel will always help you and bring you more peace.

Besides that we had waffles with our favorite member, weeded some more gardens, I made a video ad for technology specialist stuff so we'll see how it does, we went to an art night and I humiliated myself because I'm absolutely terrible at art lol, aaaaaand called a bajillion people. That's about it!

Fun District #3

This is a big phat bummer: we had to start wearing masks again at church and 2nd hour got put back online and I don't really want to talk about it. It's just frustrating to go back in time with covid, it makes missionary work very difficult. 

Actually, I'm not really "thumbs up" to be wearing a mask again.

We have a lot of good things planned for this next week so hopefully I'll have some better things to tell y'all haha, but I love you all so much!  Have a greeeeeaaaat week :)
