Books Ofs Mormons
We planted a garden- You're welcome Mother Earth 😀
The most exhausting week ever. Mentally and physically. We had another mission leadership council meeting and my brain was about to explode. And everyone kept pronouncing "Book of Mormons" differently so we all decided it would be called "Books Ofs Mormons" Also two district councils and meetings and reports to fill out all day Sunday. On the bright side, we got to go to a Christmas concert and it was very much needed 😇 and we also did a Light the World booth on campus with free hot chocolate: very successful.

But enough about the boring side of missionary work: time for a miracle story!
On Wednesday we were visiting a referral and we couldn't find his house. We started asking his neighbors if anyone knew who he was, no one did. We figured it was just a wrong address, but we decided to stay and talk to his neighbors a bit more. As we were leaving a random lady walked up to us and asked us if we were the LDS missionaries. We said yes and she seemed so excited! She told us that she had been going to church and taking lessons for 3 years but then moved to Gainesville and hadn't been able to get in contact with any missionaries for a over a year. She saw us walking around her neighborhood and she immediately ran out to catch us.
We walked with her back to her house and she told us how she wants to go back to our church and how much it blessed her life when she was taking the lessons years ago. We told her we can definitley help with that! She said that years ago she wasn't ready to accept the message, but now she wants to raise her kids with the gospel and she's ready to live it fully and come back to church. I couldn't believe it! We were in the exact right place at the right time to be able to meet her and talk with her that day. God knew that she was ready to receive the gospel and I know that he guided and directed us that day. It's so cool being able to be an instrument in Heavenly Fathers hands and help bring people to him!
Saying goodbye again to wonderful comps (but just for a while)
Anyway that was such a cool experience and we're now going to start teaching her!
So yes, I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY even though I have a lot more meetings to go to than I'm used to. 😅
At MLC I said goodbye to two of my past companions: my trainer Sister Thomas and Sister Horn. I love them so much! It made me realize that my mission is going to come to an end in a few short months as well. As hard as missions are, I wouldn't trade any of the challenges and experiences I've had for anything. And I'm so excited to work as hard as I can for the next 3 months until I go home!
Do you like our most humble Christmas tree?
Hope y'all are having a very Merry Christmas so far, I love and miss you all so much!
